With over 40 years behind him of providing guide services to clubs and
private individuals, Harry Robertson formed Hanover Fly Fishers in 1993.
As the popularity of international travel amongst sportsmen grew, he saw the
need to locate safe, affordable destinations for groups to enjoy the sport
of fly fishing
Harry Robertson is one of the select few to be chosen for
the R.L. Winston Rod Co. Pro Staff, and a member of the advisory council to
Temple Fork Outfitters.

The mission of Hanover Fly Fishers is to provide you with the perfect
experience from start to finish. Each trip begins at home, with the need to
acquire both the equipment and skills for your upcoming adventure. At out
Hanover showroom, we offer personalized service and a selection of gear
to compliment our Casting School.
We have selected examples of equipment and offer visits by appointment
for consultation on any level. Some recognizable names that are
represented include Winston, Sage, Redington, Temple Fork Outfitters,
Bauer Reels, Okuma, Brookside Flies, Riverborn Flies, Cloudveil waders and
bags, Scientific Angler Fly Lines, and Rio Fly Lines.
In addition to outfitting you for your trip, Harry is an excellent fly
casting instructor, and can give you the skills needed to take full
advantage of the fishing opportunities ahead of you. Hanover Fly Fishers
maintains a casting facility with programs from entry level to advanced
casting with the fly rod.
For each trip, a species is selected and thoroughly researched. Where
does it exist? Best season, method of capture and the logistics these
topics require for success. This formula has led to jaunts to Africa,
Alaska, Canada, Patagonia, Costa Rica, Seychelles, Mongolia, the polar
ice cap, and the world's most southern city, Ushuaia, on Tierra del
Fuego.
Call or email us for an appointment to schedule a private lesson,
purchase a gift certificate, assess your gear or purchase new equipment,
and please join us on an upcoming adventure!
