Lake Taylor with a trophy bonefish |
Bonefish, permit, tarpon, barracuda, what's
your choice? My corporate programs and one on one requests required a
saltwater location close by and affordable. I have long been aware of the
fishing opportunities offered by the closest islands of the Bahamas, having
first visited Bimini in the 1950's. A few years ago I visited Exuma Island,
and in particular, Peace & Plenty Bonefish Lodge. I now have an on-going
relationship with the management who cater to the groups I take there and
fishing for any skill level always has been a success.
Commercial airlines are available several days a week to Exuma and
shuttle service when arriving and departing is included in the lodge cost.
The guides are mannerly and excellent in selecting flats for the daily
fishing activities. They are good casters and most have a long history with
the lodge.
The lodge boasts a four-star restaurant facility and on premises license
for recreational beverages. |
